This has been a fantastic course. I feel empowered to take all of this information back to school, to make Idsall a better place for the students. The training made me feel empowered, more knowledgable, better skilled to help students, hungry for more courses to develop further.
For a while we have been trying to break the stigma attached to Mental health. Rachel very kindly accommodated us at the last minute to join the course. The course was clear, informative and helped to provide a lot of prespective. It allowed time for discussions and the sharing of expertise and knowledge, in amongst a fantastic group of people. I would highly recommend people undertake Rachel’s course.
I highly recommend this course to anyone and everyone. The demands of modern day living is gaving an impact on a high number of people’s mental and emotional wellbeing and if people are trained to spot the signs and symptoms then support can be given at the earliest opportunity, Rachel’s approach is fab which meant everyone got involved and gained something from this course. My confidence in supporting individuals has increased and Ive added to my skills and understanding which can and will benefit myself and others. Thank you Rachel
Attended the Adult mental health First Aid 2 day course. Rachel delivered the course in an interactive, knowledgeable and interactive way – very informative and professional. I feel this will benefit me in the workplace in supporting staff experiencing any difficulties in this area – highly recommend. Thank you.
An excellent course where difficult content was delivered thoughtfully and powerfully. All adults working with young people should attend this course.
This course has helped me to feel empowered to help and support young people at work and at home with their mental health. I have always strived to be available for calm, non judgmental listening but I need to get even better. Timing can be crucial and a small window of opportunity to help can so easily be missed. Rachel and Ben were both inspirational and reassuring and with their knowledge and advice I feel stronger in my role as a Youth Mental Health First Aider. Thank you.
